History

Fresh off a first-round loss in his maiden WCT event, Hawaiian Keanu Asing sat across my kitchen table, and over a bottle of red, told a crazy story of nerves, stress and general oddness of his first ever heat.

These were the stories the surfing public were missing. The long-play, the real, the untold.

Until now. A year later we kicked off our first episode with Keanu.

Lipped- The Surfers Podcast brings long-play storytelling back to the surf world.

Funny, sometimes intense, often irreverent , always unedited and very real.

He has an extensive media career with stints at both News Corp Australia and Australian Radio Network but prefers to be surfing Winki Pop.

As commentator for Surfing Victoria he loves nothing more than telling stories in surfing and competing in Torquay Boardriders Club events in a far too serious manner.

Harry Mann

Co Host

The newest member of the Lipped Team, Harry Mann joined the show as a guest after winning the Surfing Victoria Trials and surfing in the Rip Curl Pro…..and has never left.

A long term sparring partner of Cahill, Harry is one of the biggest surf frothers to come out of Torquay. Equally at home surfing crazy tubes or throwing a few turns in the pool, if it’s surfing, Harry wants to try it and talk about it.

Cahill Bell-Warren and Jimmy Miles are joined by intriguing and epic guests to chat about the big, wide, crazy old world of surfing.
